| Skills Needed: Knowledge about and experience working in China, Guangzhou/Shenzhen specifically, required Experience working in multinational corporations Minimum 8 years of marketing and communications experience of which at least 4 years in managerial position Appropriate high-level education (such as a Bachelor’s Degree), preferably in marketing, journalism or communications Strong leadership skills; highly assertive with an independent working style Ability to set objectives for self while working closely with marketing leadership in Shanghai Excellent communication skills – both in Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English Good network and relations with key GZ and SZ media Strong project management skills Good presentation skills Understanding of and commitment to client service – both internal and external Ability and willingness to work as a member of a team Attentive to details Highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and basic knowledge of new media Position Overview: To enhance the market reputation of Jones Lang LaSalle in Guangzhou (GZ) and Shenzhen (SZ) through strategic planning and deployment of public relations, marketing and communications programs; and to facilitate and enhance internal communications.
