Summary
This position includes the development of brand communication plans that will affect the uptake and retention of COMPANY software and services, plus the delivery to audiences that include the press, public bodies, local communities, & COMPANY customers, prospects, and employees. The position also includes planning and execution of programs and campaigns in a timely and cost effective way that projects the COMPANY brand position, generates response and creates demand.
This person manages direct and/or indirect people, including employees and vendors. This person leads projects and develops solutions to complex problems that require frequent use of creativity.

Degree: Bachelors or 3-4 years experience.
Marketing or Related Experience (including management experience required below): 7-12 years. Marketing Management Experience: 0-5 years.
Span of Control & # of Reports: One department or team; 1 to 10 direct and indirect employees.
Report types: Associate to Senior level. Reporting Relationships: Director or VP. Liaison within COMPANY: Interacts primarily with Specialist through VP level internal and external to their department within their organization; often is the departmental spokesperson. Liaison with Customers: Interacts primarily with customers at the Junior and Senior engineer, senior, IT Specialists, Managers, Directors, and VP’s. ( principal, group lead, manager, fellow, and director levels.) Problem Complexity: Is internally recognized as a specialist on complex technical and business matters. Uses judgments within broadly defined policies and practices and solves most problems without assistance. Strategy and Goal Impact: Contributes to and often leads the development of departmental goals and objectives (Metric and Plans); often contributes to organizational goals. Liability Potential: Medium to significant liability potential in case of inaccuracy. Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally result in the inability to reach crucial organizational objectives and may have a prolonged effect, as well as result in the expenditure of substantial resources. Global Responsibility: Responsibility within one country or limited geography. Costs Responsibility: 250 K -2 million USD. Performance and Role Expectations: Star in 3 roles from professional track, Solid to High in 5-6 additional roles. High in one manager/leader related role. Time Management: General Management / Coaching others: 50%, Program development 25% and Marketing Delivery 25%. Travel Requirements: Frequent
