受某美国公司委托,为其寻找Sales Engineer,其职位描述如下
Location:Shanghai, China
Reports To:China Sales Manager
Direct Reports:N/A
Responsibilities:
1.Responsible for the Chinese business development in the Rail and Defense industry. Acts as the focal point for Rail/Defense sales activity. Coordinates the sales activities through direct OEM specification development/tier suppliers, and the management/coordination of a rep and Distribution network.
2.Develop and coordinate the sales and marketing strategies for the Rail/Defense market to include sales, product, and market direction, as well as, new product development, which offer the potential for further market penetration and gross profit.
3.In cooperation with the other regional Rail/Defense Sales people coordinate, develop, monitor and coordinate pricing strategies to the market in relation to Europe and North America.
4.Understand and communicate the systems necessary to actively participate in the Rail/Defense industry.
5.Develop and implement business plans in line with the strategic objectives of the Group. The business plan should focus on increasing sales, gross margin, market share, and our competitive advantage.
6.Promote and enhance the image of Federal Mogul SPG as the pre-eminent supplier of protection products to the Rail/Defense industry.
7.Work with Product Management and Research & Development to ensure new proprietary product developments and/or product modifications to satisfy the customer expectations and needs.
8.Responsible for the monthly reporting of the China activity including the key objectives, new business opportunities, quotes and new product developments. Furthermore, this person will need to coordinate pertinent information to all regions
9.The activities and responsibilities noted above will be initiated and carried out with a high level of initiative, drive and creativity.
Qualifications:
1.BS Degree in a technical discipline is required, engineering preferred.
2.Experience in the Rail/Defense and/or Aircraft/aerospace industry. At least three 3 years sales experience which should include market development, product positioning, ‘specification‘selling and sales channel development. Must have manufacturer rep and distribution sales management experience.
3.Must be proactive, innovative and a self starter, with excellent communication skills, high energy and the ability to interact and communicate at all levels of an organization.
4.Must be willing to travel at a minimum of 50%.
5.Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to evaluate and solve customer problems.
6.PC literate
7.Team player/effective net worker/good listening skills
