Financial Reporting Manager, Asia Pacific

I. Responsibilities

1.Guiding Back office accounting managers and supervisors in AP countries on general ledger booking in SAP system to ensure integrity of the general ledgers.
2.Support the BO managers and supervisors to perform month-end reporting with tight deadlines.
3.Responsible for the effectiveness and reliability of financial reporting activities, review, align and improve the existing financial reporting procedures and continuously improving and fine-tuning the workflows.
4.Cooperating with Group finance team in related accounting matters to meet the group reporting requirements.
5.Reviewing reporting requirements for ADSTAR
6.Coordinating uploads for Espirit
7.Supporting SiTax requirements from BO
8.Supporting Internal & External Accounting Audits and SoX testing.
9.Identify opportunities in the GL function to improve process controls and efficiencies, reviews reports to optimize the existing process.
10.Supervises the reconciliation sheets and conducting monthly balance sheet reviews.
11.In charges of accounting related projects (system upgrading or innovation projects).
12.Maintain chart of accounts and related accounting principles and practices.
13.Prescribes methods of providing accounting data for various reports and statements where the need does not follow the normal content of accounts.
14.Other financial reporting projects and ad hoc tasks.

II. Qualification Requirements

1.University degree with major in accounting or economics.
2.Minimum 4-years working experience as Accounting Chief in European multinational enterprises.
3.Solid knowledge of IFRS.
4.Sufficient experience of SAP.
5.Good command of written and spoken English.
6.Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
7.Be able to keep good communication with multicultural professional teams.
8.Demonstrates a methodical work organization and strong analytical skills.
9.Whole picture consciousness with an eye for detail.
10.Good communication and interpersonal skills.
11.Superior problem solving skills.
