受某美国公司委托,为其寻找Senior Manager – Distribution/Logistics Department,其职位描述如下:


RESPONSIBILITIES:
-As Senior Manager of Distribution and Logistics Department, responsible for laying out the distribution and logistic concept and strategy of our Distribution centers across the country as Regional or Local Distribution centers; supervises the implementation of these concepts and strategies to ultimately secure service level to our customers and manage the fulfillment our delivery services to customer.
-Ensure right human resources for related functions as material planning and control, inventory management, logistics and warehouse management
-In close collaboration with Sales and Product Management, secures appropriate stock levels and same time optimizing the inventory level and managing the distribution and logistics cost in the most effective and efficient way.
-Drives the business performance by utilizing continuous improvement measurements and actions to fulfill the customer needs in proactive way.
-Based on thorough understanding of the processes from point of view of customers, implements concepts and actions to reach customer fill rates. Analyzes and presents the results on ongoing basis.
-Contributing significantly to business performance by managing the logistics, packaging process and other sales and customer related internal processes and external relationships with all vendors.

REQUIREMENTS:

1.University degree in Business management or Logistics is preferred.
2.At least five (5) years experience in distribution / logistics management.
3.ERP system or SAP knowledge is an advantage.
4.Must be a proactive, innovative problem solver and a self starter, with good communication skills, high energy and the ability to interact and communicate at all levels of an organization.
5.Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to evaluate and solve customer problems. Understanding of business strategy and conversion to tactical applications.
6.Experience in using process improvement techniques such as Six Sigma, TPD, etc. is preferrable
7.A change manager with Strong leadership skills
8.PC literate
9.Bi-lingual – English / Chinese
