职位描述及要求



1. Technical and management support to projects:
a)To co-ordinate, support and influence Design and Manufacture and introduction of components, working with cross functional teams to ensure cost, quality and logistics objectives are achieved.
b)To lead, source and procure components / services and to assist in further development of existing Suppliers.
c)To liaise with Clients and their Suppliers to ensure adequate interface.
d)To ensure designated Projects have acceptable and accurate measures, planning and support and to continuously monitor and report cost and timing variances
e)Assist any client Purchase Group to support the Project(s) within the scope of Project Development System. Identifying and implementing improvements when and using new technology where appropriate.
f)To assist in the development of new and existing Suppliers by providing support and training to Vendor Development Group as required.
g)Implement and develop, in line with requirements, standard purchasing processes to support client and internal projects.
h)To assess and report on new technologies and applications where appropriate.
i)Liase with other Client initiatives as appropriate to optimise programme costs.
j)To assist, advise, encourage and motivate as required.
requirements:
Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply
Minimum ten to fifteen years experience
Significant automotive experience expected. Proven experience of leading purchasing teams.
High level PC skills expected (Word, Excel, Project etc).
Advanced PC skills ACCESS
Physically fit
Outgoing/confident nature and ability to work as part of a team. Should possess very high degree of self motivation. High level leadership qualities
High level communication skills in English. Mandarin would be advantage
Will be expected to travel extensively both in China and abroad to represent the company
